Code names - LOOEL = LOOSE + ELMAR, LUOON = LOOSE + SOOIC per Farines List. Note: LOOSE is the code name for the Leica IIc body as well as IIf depending on the date of the catalog: Leica IIc < 1951 > Leica IIf.

Variants - Black dial (BD), red dial 1/500 (R5), red dial 1/1000 (R1), Betriebsk or Betriebskamera (BE) engraved "works cameras" used by Leitz employees and Eigentum (EI) "property" company cameras
