- Type - Hood for Summarex f= 8.5 cm 1:1.5
- Evolution - Early version was black with clamping screw; later version was chrome with bayonet type fitting, last version had 2 "L" shaped bayonet slots (per Laney)
- Inscription - "Summarex 8,5cm /Ernst Leitz Wetzlar" later version has "Germany" below (as shown)
