- Use - Close-up attachments lenses for R-lenses 50 mm f/2, 90 mm f/2.8 and 135 mm f/2.8
- Mount - to fit in filter thread of lens and similar sizes may be stacked for greater magnification
- Evolution
- No. 1 - ELPRO and related lenses originating about 1931, are used for close-up photography for Elmar (I) f= 5 cm 1:3.5 used with a BEHOO type adjustable legs. Because legs are attached to the leading edge of the lens they can be rotated with the camera when taking a picture. From the 1933 catalog :
- Object size - 21 x 31cm to 42 x 63cm
- Distance to camera - 55 to 100cm
- No. 2 - ELPIK
- Object size - 14 x 20.5cm to 21.5 x 32cm
- Distance to camera - 29 to 55cm
- No. 3 - ELPET
- Object size - 8.4 x 12.5cm to 10.7 x 16.1cm
- Distance to camera - 26 to 31cm
