Yes, it is. LEITZ CANADA, but MADE IN GERMANY.

"Is it engraved "LEITZ LENS MADE IN CANADA" on the front ring? If so is a version IV from early '80s - a famous lens, previous versions also came from Canada - and the s/n ought to be located on the back edge of the aperture control ring - normal that isn't in the front ring.
