Alfred Schopf had since 2004 Managing Partner of K + H Valves GmbH, a company specializing in the production of stainless steel components and systems. Also since 2004, held Mr. Schopf produces an advisory mandate for the EOMAX Corporation in Toronto, Canada, a company that optoelectronic systems.

From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Schopf as executive or CEO, the company ARRI in Munich, the world leader in film cameras, lighting systems for film sets and film and television studios and digital photo imaging laser systems.

Prior to joining ARRI he was also responsible for the Jenoptik AG business Optics, Micro Optics, Optoelectronic systems, laser technology and image processing systems.

Since November 2009 Alfred Schopf was also a member of the supervisory board of Leica Camera AG. Its supervisory board resigned with immediate effect, Mr. Schopf.
