The R mount is the mount used for Leicaflexes and R cameras. While the mount remains the same in both cases, the number of cams varies.
Cams
Leicaflexes :
- 1 cam
- 2 cams
R :
- 3 cams
- 1 cam (also called the R cam; also the lenses are engraved for R only)
- ROM
Canon EOS bodies
It should be noted that an increasing number of R mount lenses are used on Canon EOS body, through an adapter.
