Code names - ASKOO = APDOO in leather case APOOM
Variants - Black or chrome; prewar with black dial with white spot and cylindrical knob; postwar chrome dial with black spot and mushroom shaped release knob.
Evolution - Preceded by DIRECKT in 1932 and superseded by HEBOO
Accessories - APDOO has the cupped fitting for screwmount Leica shutter releases. The attachment OTZNO will convert it to the standard M release - APOOM leather case
