  • Type - Spring driven "Leica-Motor" 1st version for Leica IIIa (model G) and Leica IIIb. The front switch gives a choice of 1 or 2 frames per second. This feature was withdrawn during the first year of production and was either fixed in place, or in later versions, omitted entirely. Shutter linkage was exposed on the back side of the camera.
