Dear Peter, Thanks so much for your permission. You truly are an eminent authority on binoculars and telescopes.

It would be wonderful if anyone could be persuaded to allow use of historic binocular or monoscope non-copyrighted pictures. Pictures from old manufacturer's literature, in this case Leitz & Leica, are also especially welcome.
