  • Production era - 1957-1963; ca. 183 cameras (150 Midland - 33 Wetzlar)
  • Evolution - IIIa modified to take 18 x 24 mm images allowing 72 frames per roll of film; the camera included flash synchronization like the IIIf; camera is identified by "18 x 24" engraved on the top
